What are we waiting for?
Japan is a very proud nation. The images in the press over the last week have touched millions of people all over the world, and show a country devastated, but determined to rebuild their lives. Japanese Red Cross workers are treating the injured, offering support and distributing supplies across the east coast where the earthquake and resultant tsunami hit. The number of confirmed dead and missing currently stands at 13,000 but is expected to rise steeply in the coming weeks.
