English Frank is the South London spitting machine on a one-man mission to avenge the senseless death of his best friend, who was killed at the tragic age of 25.
Determined to deliver a serious message to the kids; English Frank’s rhymes are intended to spread love and stop hate. Inspired by peace, friendship and family, the passion Frank invests when laying down beats and bars in the booth is intense. Fronting a “fuck off” attitude that allows no messing, his sentiments are serious, his flow rapid, his wit quick, and the bare energy contained in his bars infectious. This fast-chatting lad has battled his way to the top, spitting alongside the likes of Logic and Lowkey and winning respect from his Brixton ends before SB.TV hit him up for an A64 session. He’s currently working on the English Frank EP, due for release in December, as well as attending to the latest addition to his crew: little Frank Jr. Always loyal to the people who raised and believed in him, Frank’s now supporting up-and-coming rapper Kraze and producers Dego Brown, Jay Weathers and Red Skull, who he reckons we should all have one eye on for 2012. Sincere, powerful and proud, he’s all about sharing the love. Talk to Frank.
