As Blur delight many fans nostalgic hearts by confirming plans for gigs all around the globe, we celebrate with a glance back to when Damon Albarn and the rest of his all star, Britpop team lifted the cup for England. Tonight, the England football team take on San Marino in a world cup qualifying match, let’s hope they’re as successful as the Britpop boys were back in ’96.
