Daphne Groeneveld is hot property right now. Born in Leiderdorp, Southern Holland, Daphne was spotted a year ago out whilst out shopping with her mum. The blonde haired, blue-eyed teen was quickly snapped up by Union models in London and Supreme in New York and has since hot stepped it down the runway for the who’s who of designer talent, puckering up with chum Lindsey Wixson for the autumn/winter 10 Miu Miu campaign and with Mariacarla Boscono as the face of Givenchy for spring/summer 11. With her soft, pillowy features and cascades of long blonde hair, Daphne looks like an ulterior being from some exotic far-flung world. In December, the sixteen year old school girl appeared on the cover of Paris Vogue alongside Tom Ford and this month she secures her second magazine cover, joining Amber Valletta, Stella Tennant, Kristen McMenamy and Behati Prinsloo on the cover of i-D. Shot by Dan Jackson and styled by Marie Chaix, Daphne toughens up as a baby boxer and is quick to pinpoint the shoot as one of her all-time favourites. “It was great working with Dan and Marie,” Daphne gushes.
