Rocking out in a leopard print jacket, Texan born Quinn moved to New York to follow his dreams as a designer and musician and quickly fell head over heels in love with the city’s charms. “Living in Brooklyn is incredible!” the 20 year old says. “Everyone us non-judgmental and very welcoming. NYC has the ultimate range.” Quinn loves the galleries on Bowery, the Alexander McQueen show at the Metropolitan, and the NY art scene as a whole: “As people together, we keep getting better because everyone has so much energy. It’s individual yet collaborative” he says. If Quinn could change the world he’d get rid of all money. “It’s the root of all evil,” he tells us. We couldn’t agree more.

Jamie Clayton was born in San Diego in the Golden State, before moving to New York aged 19 to work as a model and a make-up artist. Today she plays pre-op transgender receptionist Kyla on HBO’s high-school-baseball-coach-turned-male-prostitute comedy drama Hung. “No matter your age, New York is the best place to make your dreams come true.” So what does Jamie dream about? “Last night I dreamt I was modelling in a Moschino fashion show,” she giggles. “It made me feel glamorous.” Let’s hope it’s a premonition

Brian Oblivion and Madeline Follin, 22, Cults
Ominous in name but sunny in nature, Brian Oblivion and Madeline Follin are the long haired lovers better known as summery daydream-rockers Cults. Brian and Maddie met whilst studying film at New York University, they went on to form Cults, releasing their self-titled debut album this summer. Brian and Maddie describe their nostalgic, sugar coated indie as “music for kids who don’t like music.” In their spare time, they’re also interested in browsing Gorilla Vs. Bear blog, dreaming about another life as a crime-solving spy, and trying to invent a teleporter.

Elénore Hendricks, 30, Actor/ Photographer/ Casting Director
Coney Island girl Eléonore Hendricks kick-started her acting career after being spotted by director Dito Montel and cast in his 2006 coming-of-age flick A Guide to Recognising Your Saints. She has since starred in a dozen odd films, as well as extending her talents to photography. When she’s not busy working, Eléonore enjoys grabbing a slice of pizza at Joe’s and visiting the Emma Harvey gallery. Her most-loved Tumblr is Boogernose. And as for her dreams, well they’re a mixture of the sexy, the disappointing and the prosaic: “I last dreamt I was given all this fancy underwear…” she says. “I was impressed by all the pretty lace, I woke up and felt dull.”
