Photographer Richard Bush and i-D Contributing Fashion Editor Sarah Richardson shoot a mysterious and mischievous coven of Cara Delevingne, Charlie Bredal, Codie Young, Louise Parker and Magda Laguinge. Here Sarah talks us through the ingredients that went in to the shoot’s bubbling cauldron.
How did the witches idea come about? We live close to Camden and it was the idea of young girls growing up & hanging out in Camden and how they might dress and behave.
Where did you shoot? Camden Town & Stoke Newington.
What’s your creative collaboration process with Richard like? Easy, we have a very similar vision.
How did you decide on casting? We wanted to find girls that felt a little mysterious and had that London mischievousness.
Do you believe in magic/ witch craft? Life is magic so yes.
If you were a witch for a day, what spell would you cast? For everyone to have a loving, happy and fulfilled life.
