Melody Prochet is the sultry French songstress creating a spacious channel of light amongst the darkness, with her honeyed vocals and mellifluous psychedelia.
Melody Prochet is sat in Bar Bruno, Soho, warming her hands around a mug of coffee. She looks remarkably refreshed having just arrived in London following a long-haul flight from Australia. Recording as Melody’s Echo Chamber, the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has captured hearts with the vibrant luminosity of her self-titled album. The record is a spacious channel of light amongst the darkness, threading through a union of hushed honeyed vocals, mellifluous psychedelia, thumping John Bonham drums, and reflective space rock.
“I want someone to put TNT into my music and make it explosive. I like the beauty and the beast contrast; I want the right balance between beautiful melodies, disorientating textures and clouds of sound.” Melody Prochet.
