5 things to remember when using sparklers:
1. Always light sparklers one at a time.
2. Don’t take sparklers to public displays, it will be too crowded to use them safely.
3. Plunge finished sparklers hot end down into a bucket of water as soon as they have burnt out as they can stay hot for a long time.
4. Give children gloves to wear when holding sparklers.
5. Politely ask Terry Richardson to take a photograph.
