With a career in show business spanning over 30 years, George O’Dowd aka BOY GEORGE, has (and continues to) lead a life full of adventure and intrigue. George touched a nerve with the general public back in the early 80s with wonderful quips like ‘I’d rather have a cup of tea than sex’, and overnight won a dedicated fanbase of all ages who have stuck with him over the years. At age 48, George includes his talents as a world renowned DJ and remixer. His fashion design company ‘B-Rude’ further explored tangents of his prolific creativity. George continues to write and perform in his own imitable style, his vision and social commentary are always provocative, yet laced with common sense.
