Tesh studied mathematics at the University of Sussex, before moving back to London to pursue a career in photography. His first job was as an assistant to Norman Watson, who he worked with until 1998. After meeting Edward Enninful in 2000, Tesh began shooting for i-D. He has since shot thirteen covers for the magazine, his first cover being The Renaissance Issue in March 2001, starring Kate Moss in matching military coat and cap and his most recent, starring Kate Moss again, this time naked, was for The Name Issue in September 2005. Tesh’s work has appeared in a number of other publications including British Vogue, Vogue Nippon, Harper’s Bazaar and V. Tesh is now based in New York.
