Sarah Richardson

Sarah Richardson is a London-born stylist and Contributing Fashion Editor of i-D. She started her career as a window dresser for Browns where she met super stylist Venetia Scott, who she assisted for several years thereafter. Sarah is a regular contributor to i-D and has collaborated across the board with photographers including Richard Bush, Magnus Unnar, William Selden, David Armstrong and Serge Leblon, and consulted for design duo Preen for the past ten seasons. She currently lives in London with her husband, the photographer Richard Bush, and their three much-loved cats. The couple occasionally collaborate, creating a floral shoot with cascades of petals for i-D’s The Name Issue (September 2005). In 2007, Sarah styled model Irina Lazareanu for The Tissue Issue, and over the last few years, has styled a host of spreads, most recently the NEWGEN shoot and a fashion story shot by Richard in The Define Yourself Issue (Fall 2010). “I have to say looking back some of my favourite shoots have been for i-D,” Sarah fondly remembers.
