Saga is a fashion photographer who grew up with elves and ghosts in the great lava-land better known as Iceland. People around her, fondly observe how obsessed and cute she is with her furry Norwegian forest cat, talking to him as if he were human. Her greatest fear in life? Volcanic eruptions due to being raised right next to Iceland’s most dangerous mountains Hekla and Katla. She got her first film camera when she was only eight years old and hasn’t stopped taking photographs since. Saga now lives in the heart of Hackney with her bearded boyfriend Elli and their afore mentioned cat, Keli. Since moving to London roughly three years ago she has taken images for publications around the world, from China, Abu Dhabi, Mexico to Japan. Her images have also appeared in Topshop 214, Dazed & Confused, Vice and Nylon Mexico to name a few. Saga is currently working on a personal book project with her beloved sister Katla (not the volcano) where you can expect to see an even more personal side to her work.
