Having worked in creative advertising for four years, Pippa Vosper decided it was time for a change and began assisting various high profile celebrities, both for film and their personal wardrobes. In 2004 she became a full time freelance fashion stylist and landed her first commission in the rather impressive form of a 20-page story for L’uomo Vogue. Pippa has subsequently gone on to work with publications including American Vogue, W, V Man and Interview. Her introduction to i-D came courtesy of Edward Enninful who put Pippa in touch with Terry and two weeks later she was shooting her first i-D fashion story in LA with Kayt Jones. Pippa went on to collaborate on a wealth of shoots for the magazine including Alex Wek in The To Die For Issue, Chanel Iman on the cover of The Resourceful Issue and the cover of The 300th Issue, July 2009. She cites her inspiration as the strong 80s woman, Avedon’s Versace campaigns and jazz musicians of the 50s.
