In pursuit of a lady, Patrick Demarchelier moved from Paris to NYC in 1975 and subsequently became a world-renowned photographer. Now with 50 years in the industry under his belt, he’s shot covers for nearly every major fashion magazine, working for American, British and French Vogue, maintaining a long-running collaboration with Harpers Bazaar and, of course, working with i-D! Add campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Céline, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren into the mix and you have a pretty busy man! Contributing to i-D on many occasions, shooting the cover of The Beach Issue, Hana Soukupova for The Iconic Issue and, most recently, working with Edward Enninful to shoot Meghan Collison’s cover our Pre-Fall 2012, The Just Kids Issue.
