After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Olivier assisted various Belgian designers before he started his career as a freelance stylist and creative consultant. He has produced work for numerous magazines including i-D, AnOther, W, Vogue Italia, LOVE, Arena Homme Plus and Self Service and has worked with photographers including Willy Vanderperre, David Sims, Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Craig McDean and Alasdair McLellan, with whom he shot an 18-page menswear story for The God’s Gift Issue, November 2008. Olivier is a longstanding i-D favourite and Contributing Fashion Editor and has styled a host of iconic covers over the years, including Chloe and Robbie for The Inspiration Issue, February 2001, Miranda Kerr for The Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes Issue, Summer 2010 and Natasha Poly for The Pick Me Up Issue, Summer 2011, all photographed by Willy. For Winter 2011, the pair worked together again shooting Benjamin Eidem for The Winter Warm Up Issue, and have most recently collaborated on the cover of The Lights Camera Action Issue, Summer 2012, featuring man of the moment Raf Simons.
