Natasha Poly

Born in Perm, Russia in 1985, Natasha Polevshcikova (often shortened to Natasha Poly), began modelling aged fifteen. She made her catwalk debut for Emanuel Ungaro in Paris in 2003 and made such an impression that the following season she walked in 54 shows. Campaigns for Louis Vuitton, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and Gucci, shot by Mario Testino, followed – and just like that, the age of Poly began. Natasha has gone on to star in advertising campaigns for Lanvin, John Galliano, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior and Givenchy. Natasha’s first appearance in i-D was for the cover of The Piracy Issue (October 2008), then again in The Lovers of Life Issue (Pre-Spring 2010).
