Polish-born Malgosia Bela is a model and an actress. Malgosia became a successful runway and editorial model in the late 90s, appearing on the covers of many international editions of Vogue and in campaigns for Lanvin, Valentino, Jil Sander, and Versace. In 2001, Malgosia moved on to an acting career, playing leading role in the Polish film Stranger and the Italian/Polish production Karol: A Man Who Became Pope. She returned to fashion in 2006, appearing in advertising campaigns for the houses of Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Jil Sander, Donna Karan, and Marc by Marc Jacobs, and for retailers H&M and Barneys. She recently graced the cover of i-D’s ‘The Define Yourself Issue’ (Fall 2010) and also featured in ‘The Exhibitionist Issue’ for Spring 2011. Maglgosia is currently fronting the new Dsquared2 fragrance shot by Mario Sorrenti.
