Makda Iyasu

Makda Iyasu loves R Kelly, high fives, English Frank and ice cream. Born in the sunshine state of Miami, Florida, this pocket-sized and now fully fledged East Ender, first became aquainted  with  British culture via the grittier pastures of Kentish town. Studying Film & TV at Brunel University, she then went onto intern at Paper Magazine, TimeOut New York and UNDP before working for FILMCLUB and Channel 4. Today Makda spends her time having fun, hanging out with her girl Rebecca Thomas and listening to Grime whilst shooting short documentaries and music promos.
