Born into his mother’s Sardinian salon in 1964, hair has always fascinated Luigi Murenu, who moved to Paris in 1983 to launch his career. Luigi has since worked on runway shows for Armani, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton, Viktor & Rolf, Chloe, Givenchy, Prada, Helmut Lang, Roberto Cavalli and Versace, styled hair for numerous magazines including i-D’s supermodel beauty exclusive in ‘The Define Yourself Issue’ (Fall 2010). He has also worked his magic on celebrities including Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lopez.
