Josh Olins was born in West London in 1980. After being surrounded by art and photography from an early age he went on to specialise in photography as part of his art foundation at Middlesex University. From here he began work as a freelance assistant for five years, gaining experience from a variety of photographers until he decided to embark on his own career. Josh helped i-D celebrate our 30th birthday in style by shooting one of the cover stories for The Livin’ Loud Issue in the basement of Q Book in Soho whilst i-D family and contributors partied upstairs. Still based in London, his editorial clients also include, British Vogue, Paris Vogue, Vogue Nippon, Chinese Vogue, American Vogue, Vanity Fair, V and V Man. His recent commercial clients include, Aquascutum, Benetton, Giorgio Armani, H&M, Lancome, Levis, L’Oreal, Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger and Topshop.
