NYC photographer Jeff Bark takes pictures with a strong visual narrative. Using predominantly colder tones and focussing on melancholy subjects and surroundings, his considered images perfectly blur the line between art and photography, leaving audiences wondering what is real and what is superimposed. Working with elaborate studio sets, Jeff shoots on film and uses long exposures to create painterly textures. For The Whatever The Weather Issue, Pre-Spring 2012 he worked with i-D’s Fashion Director Charlotte Stockdale and shot a beautiful, ethereal boy meets girl story.
