As a vibrant young stylist and native New Yorker, Havana Laffitte began contributing to i-D in the mid 90s. Her work has been featured in The Face, Spin and Numéro. Havana became Fashion Director of Nylon in 1999, and after bringing a new voice to an already established publication, she was ready to move on. She relocated to London where she accepted the position as Senior Fashion Editor of Nova magazine. After two years at Nova, Havana returned to New York to become Fashion Editor at Teen Vogue. Now a Contributing Fashion Editor to i-D, Havana has styled a host of i-D shoots and covers, including Shannyn Sossamon on the cover of The Ki-Ds Issue and Dewi for the cover of The Beach Issue. Havana’s recent contributions have included styling Natalia Chabanenko in a shoot for The Pain and Pleasure Issue, Mariacarla Boscono for The Home is Where The Heart Is Issue and Hannah Holman for The Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes Issue.
