Dylan Jones

Dylan Jones studied design and photography at Central Saint Martins School of Art, before establishing himself as a journalist and securing the position of Editor of i-D in 1984. Now editor of British GQ, prior to this Jones was the Editor-At-Large of The Sunday Times, and an editor at The Observer, Arena and The Face. He has written and edited several books, including an international best-selling biography of Jim Morrison, Dark Star; iPod, Therefore I Am and Cameron on Cameron, a series of interviews with the Conservative leader. He has won the BSME Editor of the Year award seven times, once for his work on Arena and five times for GQ. A notable face during the New Romantic era, during his tenure as Editor at i-D, Dylan took the i-D club nights to a global platform with ‘The i-D World Tour’ and his memorable covers include Sade, Swing Out Sister and Grace Jones.
