Declan Higgins grew up in Crewe. His early aspirations of being a footballer or an astronaut were destroyed when reality slipped in. Leaving Crewe to move to London, Declan attended The London College of Fashion in 2009. After attending a guest lecture conducted by i-D loyalist Caryn Franklin, Declan was introduced to the magazine and his blossoming organic friendship with i-D began. Declan is a talented fashion writer and fashion film director based in London and has contributed to many international publications both in print and digitally.
