Anthony Stephinson

Anthony is a Bowie-obsessed stylist based in London, who first appeared in i-D in 2005 in issue #259 The Nationality Issue. Back then, he was running cult avant-garde boutique twosee in Covent Garden, where – as buyer and creative director – he provided the launch platform for a number of designers, including Meadham Kirchhoff, Hannah Martin and JW Anderson. He went on to re-introduce JC de Castelbajac to the UK market and became firm friends with Jean-Charles leading him to take over the running of JC de Castelbajac’s flagship store on Conduit Street. In 2010, lifelong friend Patrick Wolf asked him to work on the creative side of his new album, Lupercalia, and the accompanying campaign. This led to Anthony working with Ryan McGinley on Patrick’s promotional material, and his decision to focus purely on his styling and creative consultancy work. He currently consults on a number of brands, and contributes to several international fashion titles.
