Alex is based at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion and spends his time talking about, writing about and thinking about how the fashion industry can take a bit more responsibility for the impact it has on the world. Alex works with fashion businesses and designers, from global brands to emerging talent, on projects that inspire and communicate better ways of designing and producing fashion. He isn’t a hemp wearing tree hugger, he doesn’t spend his days protesting outside Primark and he isn’t averse to the odd bit of Comme or Jil Sander but he does care about making a positive difference in the world and he isn’t ashamed to say so. The things Alex is currently most excited about are: getting married and spending loads of money on an amazing bespoke suit, harvesting the honey from the bee hive in his garden and surfing, anywhere.
