Born in Sheffield in 1965, after graduating Central Saint Martins in 1987, Adam Howe began assisting stylist Judy Blame. After a three year tour of duty, his first fashion story with David Sims was published in i-D in 1990. Since then Adam has become a regular contributor to i-D, Vogue Italia, 032C and L’Uomo Vogue. He has collaborated with photographers including David Sims, Jason Evans, Paul Wetherell, Takashi Homma, Nobuyoshi Araki, Donald Milne, Klaus Thymann and Mario Testino. Adding another string to his bow, Adam has worked as chief costume designer with cult Japanese director Takashi Miike on Hyo Ryu Gai and is currently working with Elaine Constantine on her debut feature Northern Soul. Adam is also co-designing menswear brand ‘Low Profile’ with Simon Taylor.
