Lily is a man’s best friend.
From McQueen to McCartney, Derrick Santini’s lens has captured a multitude of stars but none so frequently or so lovingly as his beloved bull terrier, Lily. To mark her fifteenth birthday and to raise money for the Dotsters Fund, the acclaimed Dalston dweller launched the project ‘Pictures with Lily’ and for one day last week, opened his studio to shoot his ever present companion with a whole host of well wishers. Today, we belatedly celebrate Lily’s birthday by sharing a few of our favourite shots from Santini’s archive.
