The stars come out and sparkle as Carine Roitfeld launches the second issue of CR Fashion Book.

Last night in Paris, i-D scrubbed up, dressed to the nines and descended upon the ballroom of the Shangri-La in support of friend and former cover girl Carine Roitfeld’s launch of her second issue of CR Fashion Book. Co-hosted by Stephen Gan and supported by Mercedes – Benz, the soiree kicked off with a ballet performance before the male part of the duo and a dazzling Carine inaugurated the dance floor with a waltz. Designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz, Alexander Wang, Riccardo Tisci and Umit Benan roamed the hotel’s gilded salons while Jessica Alba, Jessica Chastain, Adrien Brody, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian increased the glitz factor. Out in full force, the model mafia did their part to celebrate the new fashion bible, with girls like Kate Moss who was wearing Saint Laurent, straight from the runway, Arizona Muse, Karlie Kloss, Daphne Groeneveld, Magdalena Frackowiak and Hanne Gaby Odiele in attendance. Music came courtesy of the 70s, 80s and 90s with at least one Nirvana evergreen and more than a few Michael Jackson tracks. Spirits were high, dresses were big, and no one could have asked for a more glamorous conclusion to Paris Fashion Week. Big congrats to Carine and Stephen on their second issue!
