Collaborating with young imprint Blasé Boys Club, this month’s unmissable event features Duke Dumont, MNEK, A*M*E, Fools and a very special, secret guest. RSVP here.
When i-D discovered Duke Dumont’s Essential Mix for Radio 1 earlier this year, we instantly became hooked. Rammed full of excellent drops, fades, hooks and beats this unadulterated 2 hour treat of expertly mixed melodies is outstanding. Hitting up the Duke personally, we collaborate with his self founded imprint Blasé Boys Club to present the March i-D Mix event. Support comes from wunderkind producer/ songwriter MNEK, BBC Sound of 2013 popstar A*M*E” and a very special, secret guest. With doors opening at 8 and staying wedged open until late, our night is free and everyone is welcome. Backing the biggest mid-week rave about, the Duke is booking events sparsely, choosing only a few informed outlets to showcase his outstanding talents with so make the most of this one. i-D Online took time out with Duke Dumont and A*M*E ahead of the event to find out how they came to collaborate on the dance charts number 1 smash hit ‘Need U (100%), look right.
Can’t make it down to the Shoreditch Butchery to catch the Duke in our company? Don’t worry, he joins DJ T and Tiger and Woods to play at Apogee v Potty Mouth on March 28th, save the date and get your tickets here.
