Canadian designer Thomas Tait showed his Autumn Winter collection in a rainbow lit car park complete with smoke machine and underseat lighting. An appropriate setting for a race-car driver themed collection full of go-faster insignia and futuristic clothes with plenty of vrrooom. Sheer jogging bottoms worn over colour blocked leggings cleverly translated to an urban wardrobe whilst padded all-in-ones looked more at home on the ski slopes. Mannish coats and slick leather paired convincingly with sportswear bombers, high-neck zipped sweatshirts and colourful tracksuits, kept things interesting and injected the requisite fashion verve. Highlights included thickly quilted pieces in neon orange and green and some serious looking puffa jackets. High impact clothing from a talented designer defing his exciting vision.
