Prada’s coming up roses.
There’s no room for shrinking violets in this bouquet. Eva Herzigova, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova and Saskia de Brauw are just a few of fashion’s beauties acting as the ten tall stems in Prada’s SS13 bunch. The flowers we remember blooming in Miuccia’s show last year are brought back to life in a 1 minute 40 second storm by Steven Meisel. Dahlia, Iris, Peony, Tiger Lily and Tall Poppy are each to their own, Miss Flawless, never satisfied, a bird in paradise; note in paradise not of paradise. A chain reaction starting with one dandelion being blown away by Vanessa Axente to Saskia twirling around on a chair making helicopter noises, the Prada SS13 campaign is one gust of girly wind creating a playful storm of pink petals, pretty people and Prada perfection.
