The ever industrious Pam Hogg has outdone herself this season, marvelling at the way her models balance precariously atop towering platform heel-less wedged shoes and the block shaped headpieces perched aloft her mainstay, the intricate body formed one piece catsuits. They come in patent black on black (sheer and matt), scarlet patent on sheer and gold sequin, emerald sequin on sheer, fur on sheer. Net bows, ruffs, ruching and nakedness, her theatrics know no bounds, with an accompanying thudding soundtrack Hogg got the English National Ballet in who got ‘on point’ and strutted the catwalk with intermittent contemporary dance moves. You had to have been there… the place was heaving and audibly gasped and clapped as each ‘creation’ wafted forth. Now then let us not omit the coats, jackets, skirts and dresses she puts out, each tailored piece worked precisely towards maintaining the Hogg silhouette she’s so known for… skimmed in at the waist, exaggerated shoulders and ping collars, the gothic dream of a fairy tale vamp princess.
