Teaching us two important lessons: Get Rhythm, and Don’t Cry over Spilt Milk, Matt Bell is our first of five, maybe six boys to be caught on film. Walking his sea-blue eyes down all the best catwalks from Paris to Milan in January, and landing the McQ campaign shot by fellow scouser David Sims a few week’s back, Matt’s doing alright like. Having grown up in Liverpool, Matt’s now on a mission to make the most of London with his partner in good looking crime, model Ben Smallwood. Cashing in on calcium and tapping his knee to the beat, Mr Bell shows i-D his cheeky side.

What do you do in your spare time? I practise with my band “#MatthewBellAndTheSilver
Unicorns” which is trending on @matthewbell93 but other than that I have recently indulged in the gym lifestyle but we will see how long that lasts.
What do you think is your best feature? I believe my elbows because they occasionally get ingrown hairs and I have the pleasure of getting them.
What do you think when you look in the mirror? I don’t have time to think because I start to cry.
What song can’t you get out of your head? ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ by Kendrick Lemar. Insanely catchy. You’ll find yourself saying it for the rest of the day to people who irritate you.
What are your mates like? My mates are sound! Me and Ben Smallwood have started getting cultural and are going to try and get out and about the city to see more stuff. I always forget I am in London and there is so much going on!
