Hey babe, take a walk on the wild side. With eight or so Cavalli queens sitting front row, camera ready in full look leopard print, Cavalli came on strong in a Year of the Snake, sexy safari warrior collection. Laser print mini-dresses, 70s frizzed out manes and furry cave-woman boots turned up the heat, then as quickly softened with cosy cable knit jumpers and sheepskin leather jackets. White leopards made friends with zebras on heavy silk coats and styling happened in Just So 70s polo-necks and yes-please white leather flares. Cranking up the theme, Wilma Flintstone showed up in her signature tiger print dress, closely followed by Betty Rubble in a not so signature crushed velvet gold parka, fit for a lion king. Closing with Señor Cavalli giving Georgia May Jagger two kisses, and the eight or so Cavalli queens mentally planning their next jungle trip, it was a hot, powerful collection of high octane glamour and strong female prowess.
