The stage is all set for tonight’s star studded BRITs bonanza, where all of Britain’s music talent, from i-D cover stud Plan B to indie-mainstream break-through band Alt-J, are crossing guitar strung fingers in the hopes of holding one of the coveted Damien Hirst designed statuettes. In an attempt to upstage the Awards night, LFW #FROW-ers got together for a pre-Brits bash and held their own on the mic as karaoke was the ending highlight of the night.
When? 19th February 2013. Significant as the birthday of The Gossip girl, Beth Ditto, heartthrob David Gandy and Ann Dexter-Jones who celebrated with the rest of the London scenesters, as well as the night before The BRITs.
Where? Soho’s hippest hotspot, Hix.
What? A pre-BRITs dinner turned party hosted by the voice of morning radio, Nick Grimshaw in association with Philips Sound, where Miss Dexter-Jones got the happy birthday of happy birthdays sung to her by Rita Ora, Pixie, Alexa and Grimmy.
