Hosted in the dark underground tunnels of the London Film Mueseum, Covent Garden, Nike exhibited their rich Nike Air Max design history for one night only. Inviting a select few guests to enjoy a rich menu of food and cocktails, playing out an old school garage soundtrack to mark the shoes iconic status on the 80′s rave scene DJ Luck and MC Neat, B.Traits and Mistajam kept the early weekday party alive from 8 until late. Newbie BBC Radio 1 DJ presenter B.Traits chats to i-D about her first pair of Max’s and lists her top 5 remixes of the moment.

“My favourite pair of Air Max’s are ID’s I made when I first moved to London. They’re my signature favorite ‘teal’ colour with pastel accents. I keep them in a fancy box tucked away safely. I’ll never get rid of them, they represent such an exciting and manic time for me. I’d just moved to a brand new country and had to start my music career all over again! It was a leap that I’m rather proud of because without taking that chance, I wouldn’t be where I am now.”

1. Killed Kenny – Crux feat. Slick Don (Pedro 123 Remix)
2. Boddika & Joy Orbison – Mercy (Boddika’s VIP Mix)
3. Wretch 32 – Pop (Mele Remix)
4. Disclosure feat. Aluna George – White Noise (Hudson Mohawke Remix)
5. Chicken Lips – He Not In (Eats Everything’s Chicken Tits Rewix)
