“Fendi is fur and fur is Fendi,” read the show notes placed on our seats yesterday morning and they certainly gave a clear indication of what was to come. Cue a collection of fur in every colour, style and form, used in ways you would never imagine. Like fuzzy tribal warriors on acid, Karl Lagerfeld sent his models down the Fendi catwalk to the Prodigy’s “I’m a fire starter, twisted fire-starter…” Hair came plaited into fur Mohawks, sunglasses sported fur arms and the detailing on bracelets again sported matching fur.  Zebra print booties lined (again) in colourful fluffy fur added to the animalistic air. As did mink coats with pink and blue pinstripes. Fur wraparound skirts, scarves and cuffs, fluffy bomber jackets in pastel hues and two-tone mink and wool overcoats with rounded shoulders and sleeves. The bags, courtesy of Silvia Venturini Fendi were fur lined and featured matching fur cube key rings to create a bonkers collection that catered to all your furry needs.
