Peter Dundas, the hunky blonde Norwegian behind both Emilio Pucci and Rita Ora’s Radioactive Tour costumes, turned to late 60s music and glamour for this collection; taking Rolling Stones babe Anita Pallenberg and Bond Girl Britt Ekland as muses, and reviving the classic Otto print from Pucci’s resplendent archives. In particular, the models’ long locks and fringes echoed Pallenberg and Ekland, as did their kilt-cut shorts and mini-skirts. Trousers were nowhere to be seen, instead there were sexy suede and leather boots creeping all the way up the thigh. Above all, this was a show of technical brilliance and artisanship; art nouveau knits in bold monochrome, byzantine swirls of crystal-beaded embroideries, burnt clouds of ostrich feathers bouncing off a silk tulle sky, delicate devore chiffon and golden handiwork. As luxurious as it comes.
