A young American educated at St Martins, Adam Andrascik’s catwalk show was an off-schedule triumph. With an aesthetic of “disheveled minimalism”, this was a contemporary take on boardroom power-dressing in glossy silk satin, marbled wool and tech lurex. Mostly black and grey, with flashes of siren red and cork, combinations were key – elongated shirts flowing into coats, skirts over dresses, silk button-down shirts blended into fitted tops and pencil skirts. Adam’s 5 words to describe the collection… contrast, elongated, fluid, hybrid, reconstructed.
