Filmmaker Sharna Osborne studies Meadham Kirchhoff’s AW13 collection on film.
Delighting us with their artistic, installation approach to fashion week, design duo Meadham Kirchhoff flew the flag for androgyny at their recent menswear presentation for London Collections: Men. Beautiful boys wearing prim pearls and headbands reclined on bin bags in majestic, embellished woollen jackets. Made exclusively for i-D, Sharna Osborne filmed the presentation, accentuating its darkness and mystery, set to the haunting soundtrack of Ne Me Quitte Pas. Interviewed on i-D online last week about their musical heroes for a Versus profile, Edward and Benjamin counted Kate Bush and Courtney Love among their musical heroes, and shared the songs that have healed their hearts in the past.
