Married, divorced and a mother of one by the age of 21, Solange Knowles lived her young life fast, fuelled by passion and love. A recognised and acclaimed artist, Solange’s success has never been influenced by her sister’s stratospheric popularity. A much less commercial singing songwriter, the now 26-year-old, Terrible Records signed ex-model is currently on the cusp of launching her third album to date, the most anticipated yet. Teasing the world of new music with her brutally catchy Losing You, released late last year, a coming of age confidence resonated from the incredibly stylish leggy Texan that seemed to say ‘world you are ready for me’ Currently living and working in Brooklyn, so she can be closer to her family and new baby niece Blue Ivy :) Solange is working full time on the new album, due out very soon. Hooked on her look, hair guru Liam Curran got to grips with Aimee from Elite’s lush afro Caribbean locks, to recreate Solange’s top heavy look from Losing You.
