Are we to look forward to a debut womenswear collection from Christopher Shannon? Adding female models to the lineup of his mens show, Christopher gave an extra edge to what was already a thoroughly enjoyable collection. His AW13 offering was extremely wearable, and despite the appearance of a brilliant one eyed spongebob sweater, very mature. Still with a sportswear reference, it was a very clean and slick collection full of commercial pieces. Kickers, the footwear of choice, continue to be a great companion for Christopher, putting out another bumper style complimenting this season’s looks. The womenswear was tidy and compact, put together in a feminine way, but we still reckon the Shannon women would beat you in a fight. Christopher is a brilliant designer, we hope he knows how good he is.
