Tired of the same old hair blowing in a wind machine fashion film? Alexander Wang enlists his comedienne friend Anjelah Johnson for his Spring 2013 campaign film, the best show-down showcase of a fashion label we’ve seen this year. Anjelah plays Bon Qui Qui, a character she scored 60 million hits with on Youtube in 2007. Bon Qui Qui believes her own hype, and started out as a check out girl in *King Burger, having a go at customers for not wanting cheese in their baps. Now Bon Qui Qui’s back, as the most curious rep for high fashion in history, rapping her surely not a hit single ‘Ima cut you’ to A$AP Rocky, and styled by i-D Contributor Alastair McKimm for Alexander Wang’s T collection. With cameos from Barneys’ Simon Doonan, actress Natasha Lyonne and we said it already, A$AP, the film throws seriousness to the wind, and reminds us why Wang is the coolest kid in school.
