North London producers Foamo and RackNRuin have combined forces to create uber electronic outfit Gorgon City. You can head down to XOYO on December 21st to take in their live show at the next i-D Mix Night but to whet your appetite and tease your ears, we get to know the boys here.

Black Butter signed double act Gorgon City were raised on a solid diet of house, garage and bass. Hyped by essential new music resources 1Xtra and Rinse FM, their fast moving, fluid vibes are significantly influencing the emerging post garage movement, playing out of London right now. Big, deep and heavy, these boys create rolling bass lines to fuel heady parties. Perfectly bridging the gap between bass and house, RackNRuin and Foamo met each other through Djing and followed each other up on twitter to began making music. Working with an Ableton and Korg synth combined with loads of software FX, Gorgon City’s live shows are something special as the pair play edits of each track and throwing exclusive acapellas over the top. Their shared focus is fully on dance floor activity. i-D disturbed the duo in the studio to find out their top remixes of all time and secure an exclusive mix.
