YOLO POLO!

It was 80 years ago that René Lacoste first designed the polo shirt, naming it the L. 12. 12. L for LACOSTE, 1 for the Cotton Petit Piqué fabric, 2 for the Short Sleeve style, and 12 for the number of prototypes made before René Lacoste gave his final approval. Entwined with today’s date and this landmark celebration of company history, Lacoste have released this vibrant video to show their imagination and vision of the eco-reactive future for the polo shirt. Shot in timeless Paris, the film showcases the polo shirt in a future where textile technology knows no limits.
