Christmas has come early, Black Butter Records and i-D online collaborate to bring you one noisy, festive night of fast paced, bass laced fun.
Mistajam and Annie Mac both name checked Black Butter Records as their number one go-to source for emerging, outstanding musical talent when chatting with i-D online recently. Established just two years ago and run by Olly Wood, Joe Gossa and Henry Village, Black Butter have released some of the most talked about singles of the year, including the no.1 smash hit Feel The Love from Rudimental.
Working to create an eclectic roster that represents the current musical climate perfectly, Black Butter is home to Syron, Rudimental, Stay+, Kidnap Kid, Clean Bandit, Lulu James, NoisseS, Gorgan City and Racknruin. Teaming up with the BB trio to organise a very special festive mix night, full of treats and beats, i-D returns to XOYO on December 21st for a six hour extravaganza, celebrating the best in electronic music, entirely curated by the label’s artists.
