A smile and a wink gets you further than you think.

Either you can do it or you can’t. A good wink is a confident wink. While i-D watched straight-faced models on the catwalks at Paris Fashion Week, photographer Phill Taylor caught them off duty, before and after shows, wearing their own clothes, and closing their right eye for i-D. From Just Kids coverstar Cara, to Marc Jacobs’ opening girl Ruby Jean Wilson, million dollar smiler Ming Xi to auburn emo Cody Young, here’s our top 10, from the top (on the left…)
Melodie Monrose @ Silent was snapped outside the Akris show, reciting the ‘roses are red’ poem.
