With their garms cladding many of those blinded by street-style-spotters flashbulbs at fashion week this season, Kenzo have every right to party. After the French house’s AW12 collection left Paris ringing with the sound of orders from stores across the world, they marked success with one particular stockist with a spot of can-canning.

When? The penultimate evening of London Fashion Week. After Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the creative crack team behind Kenzo, shook The Big Apple last week celebrating the fifteen birthday of their store Opening Ceremony, they felt it was only fair that they spread a spot of magic to Blighty.
Where? The third floor of Liberty. As the womenswear department was cleared, bars and a stage were errected and the dancefloor was promptly flooded with fashion week frazzled revellers!
What? A party of two halves; shortly after doors opened at 8PM there was much civilised chitter chatter and clinking of cocktails. Then, as the clock struck 9PM, many made a dash to catch J.W. Anderson‘s SS13 catwalk collection storm the runway. As the show came to a close, guests returned to the shinding to see in the midnight hours and get their freak on to the sounds of Blood Orange.
Who? From left. Brian Phillips and Maryam L’Ange; Matthew Stone and Phoebe Collings-James; Olivier Zahm; Diane Pernet and friends; Julia Sarr-Jamois and Joe Alexander; Leigh Lezark; Liam Freeman and friend; snapback and specs; dip-dye and up-do; Dev Hynes (of Blood Orange), Carol Lim and Humberto Leon; Julia Hobbs and friend.
Why? Guests toasted the arrival of Kenzo’s AW12 collection in Liberty.
