Inspired by the first female aviators, Christopher Raeburn showed sleeveless short dresses and mac jackets made from British parachute nylon. Accessories included bags shaped like dogs, owls and a red hare, as well as rucksacks and roll tops, following on from his SS13 menswear show. The ease with which Raeburn can take on a military theme and make it feminine never fails to amaze. At a time when Great Britain is being celebrated for all kinds of success this summer, this was the perfect tonic for another Made in England celebration.
